Sometimes it only takes a few minutes to find out if your sewage system is going to work or not.
A quick visual inspection is required.
When the Peat Fibre looks like this, black, compacted and without life, it is time to change it.
Once the Peat Fibre has been changed and your sewage system serviced with new fresh Peat Fibre; your module should look like this:
What colour is the Peat Fibre in your module?
That simple and quick inspection will help you assess how long and how well the system will work. Of course, there are other items to take into consideration, such as the size of the household and the usage of the sewage system.
